EBBE + FLOW is a touring exhibition of work by nine artists based in Norway and Scotland emerging from a collaborative project with residences in both countries and is supported by Creative Scotland, Norsk Kulturrad, City of Bergen, Vestland County Council, VACMA Highland Western Isles, Bergen Atelier Gruppe and the Society of Scottish Artists. Cultural and physical links between the two countries were explored resulting in a body of work designed to fit within compartments and drawers in a custom made travelling cabinet Drawings, sculptures, installations and prints are unpacked at each venue with the cabinet itself an integral element in the show.
The project was initiated and curated by David Faithfull, artist, printmaker, curator and lecturer at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, Dundee and Imi Maufe, artist and curator, Bergen, Norway. Invited artists are Rhona Fleming, Marit Tunestveit Dyre, Sarah Jost, David Lemm, Jon Macleod, Randi Annie Strand, Calum Wallis.
An artist book documenting the residency project was published in 2022.
